I ordered the extended Li-Ion battery for the Baofeng UV-5R to enhance it’s utility in long range wilderness expectations.
I also ordered it in red cuz red is way more bad-ass.
When it came, I noticed that the parcel had the label that said “NiMH battery ONLY no Lithium” and thought to myself, “Heh the Chinese always skirting customs and shipping regulations.” But when I opened up the envelope, I was shocked to see that the battery was in fact labeled Ni-MH.
Mysterious.
A closer inspection revealed that the Chinese (clever as ever) had simply stuck a label that said Ni-MH right over the Li-Ion label directly below.
Heh.
Bastards.
I really do appreciate this little bit of shipping sass.
